Longboat Key resident Alan Quinby has been elected president of the Children’s Guardian Fund, an organization that helps abused, neglected or abandoned children in Florida’s foster care system.
Quinby has served on the boards of G.WIZ Science Museum in Sarasota, First Step and Friends of the Selby Public Library. He succeeds Judy Sharple, who served as president for two years.
