Travel + Leisure magazine named the Resort at Longboat Key Club in its annual listing of the top 500 hotels and resorts worldwide. The Key Club was one of three Ocean Properties resorts included on the list.

Sunset Key Guest Cottages, a Westin Resort, in Key West, and the Sandpearl Resort, in Clearwater, were also recognized.

Other recent awards the Key Club has received include the AAA Four-Diamond Award for the 30th consecutive year; Conde Nast’s “Top 40 Florida Resorts;” Tennis Resort’s Online “Top 25 Gold Metal Tennis Resort Worldwide;” Successful Meetings “Pinnacle Award;” The Knot “Best of Weddings,” 2013; TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence;” and the “Florida Clean Marina” award for the 11th year.

“I am very pleased that The Resort at Longboat Key Club has been recognized by the Travel + Leisure readers as a top resort worldwide. It speaks volumes to the quality of our service and the outstanding amenities that we have to offer. To be recognized alongside some of the most iconic resorts and hotels in the world is quite an honor,” said Jeff Mayers, general manager of the Resort at Longboat Key Club in a prepared statement. “I thank the entire staff for their professionalism and dedication, they are the key to achieving this distinction. Furthermore I am appreciative of our ownership’s continued commitment to providing the resources that allow us to offer world-class accommodations and amenities.”
