John Ringling Estates home sells for $3.5 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between May 5 and May 9.

A home in John Ringling Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Frank and Carole Krohn, trustees, sold the home at 132 N. Washington Drive to Jeffrey and Penny Vinik, of Tampa, for $3.5 million. Built in 1950, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,123 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 1982.

Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club
Kathleen Krohn, trustee, sold the Unit A-101 condominium at 535 Sanctuary Drive to Herman Frankel and Sharon Frankel, trustees, of Longboat Key, for $1.25 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,115 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $490,000 in 1992.

The Pierre
Marvin Kocian, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 602 condominium at 455 Longboat Club Road to Clifford and Sandra Kress, of Allison Park, Pa., for $1.08 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,410 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $950,000 in 2010.

The Tides of Longboat
William Thomas and Suzanne Thomas, of Aylett, Va., sold their Unit 303 condominium at 5555 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John Hantz, trustee, of Southfield, Mich., for $895,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, one bath and 1,828 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2001.

Longboat Key Towers
Murray Greenwald, Brent Greenwald and Heidi Thompson and Bart and Deborah Greenwald, of Jefferson, Ky., sold their Unit S-1003 condominium at 601 Longboat Club Road to William and Maria Aitchison, of Sudbury, Mass., for $831,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,458 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $437,500 in 1998.

Sands Point
Lorena Droba Rodriguez, of New York, sold her Unit 320 condominium at 100 Sands Point Road to Tonda Mullis, of Danbury, Conn., for $555,000. Built in 1966, it has one bedroom, two baths and 1,492 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $122,000 in 1982.

Seaplace
David and Sandra Campbell, of Charleston, W.Va., sold their Unit G3-102-B condominium at 2039 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Myrna Tubbs, trustee, of De Witt, Iowa, for $505,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,492 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $650,000 in 2005.

Fairway Bay
Seneca Realty Co. sold the Unit 237 condominium at 1932 Harbourside Drive to Dennis and Elizabeth Horrigan, of Buffalo, N.Y., for $495,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,442 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $423,000 in 2011.

Gerard and Donna Ricciardelli, of Linden, N.J., sold their Unit 803 condominium at 1916 Harbourside Drive to Barbara Katz, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $475,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,626 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $485,000 in 2001.

Winding Oaks
Harvey Levine sold his Unit 52 condominium at 3410 Winding Oaks Drive to Robert Capone and M. Christine Parker, of Chatham, N.J., for $465,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,039 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $310,000 in 1993.

Longboat Harbour
Edward and Janet Davin, of Spring Lake, N.J., sold their Unit 206 condominium at 4440 Exeter Drive to Gregg and Stacey Stanley, of Southampton, N.Y., for $325,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,500 in 1999.

Allan and Judith Robertson sold their Unit 206 condominium at 4380 Exeter Drive to Patricia McCollister, trustee, of Valley, Neb., for $315,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2008.

Windward Bay
Celia Schwartz sold her Unit 201 condominium at 4800 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Robert Curry Jr., of Longboat Key, for $300,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,337 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $137,000 in 1988.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Stephen and Roberta Sherman, of Scottsdale, Ariz., sold their Unit 113 condominium at 618 Spanish Drive S. to John and Vivian Fagan, trustees, of Westport, Mass., for $240,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,399 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $272,000 in 2005.
Margaret McGouran, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 188 condominium at 676 El Centro to Carolyn Rothman, of Longboat Key, for $234,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,427 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 2007.

Covert
Agnes Peterson, of Stamford, Conn., sold her Unit 201 condominium at 5230 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Comerica Bank, trustee, for $205,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 986 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $177,500 in 2013.

George Maurizi and Gayle Uhlenburg, of Sarasota, sold their Unit B-906 condominium at 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Steve Barry, of Tucson, Ariz., for $1,360,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,070 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $895,000 in 2001.

Lido Surf and Sand
Gregory and Gina Hagopian sold their Unit 412 condominium at 1102 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Robert Sparling, of Kewadin, Mich., for $459,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,213 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $305,000 in 2010.

Lido Harbour South
William and Karen Stefani sold their Unit 107 condominium at 2110 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Financial Research of Delaware Inc. for $400,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $585,000 in 2006.

St. Armands Towers

Nicholas Lardieri sold the Unit PH-2 condominium at 1 Benjamin Franklin Drive to David Lumsden, of Ontario, Canada, for $834,200. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,389 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $780,000 in 2012.
