For this issue, the Longboat Observer has teamed up with an area company to test one of its newest line of products: edible ink and paper. Unlike previously released edible paper, which is more like dissolving Styrofoam, the company’s new product looks and feels like actual paper — and tastes great. Throughout this issue, all red ink will taste like strawberries. The company hopes to market the product to dessert companies who could use it to top cake and pastries — or companies looking to jazz up their annual reports.
