IDA selects director for Town Hall

Members of the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority board today selected Eva Rey, of Summerfield, as the organization's new executive director.

IDA Chairman Tom Green will lead contract negotiations with Rey, who currently serves as the director of purchasing and support services for the Village Center Community Development District.

"What an incredible opportunity this is," Rey said. "I love that community, and I want to be part of the community, and I want to make the community a better place live, work and play."

Rey is expected to assume her post sometime in July.
