IDA considers water schedule changes

Lakewood Ranch residents may soon be able to water their yards twice per week.

Since the Southwest Water Management District’s recent decision to reduce water-use restrictions, members of the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority board today discussed whether the option should be available to residents, who currently are allowed to water only one time weekly. The item is expected to be discussed again at the group’s regular board meeting on Thursday.

IDA members also are expected to vote on a new pubic records request policy, among other items.

Lakewood Ranch’s CDDs meet starting at 8 a.m., July 15, at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.
