Home in Sleepy Lagoon sells for $2.15 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Feb. 25 and March 1.

A home in Sleepy Lagoon Park tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Joseph Manfredo, of North Venice, and Kathleen Manfredo, of Brick, N.J., sold their home at 796 Marbury Lane to Robert Emery, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $2.15 million. Built in 2008, it has three bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 3,834 square feet of living area.

St. Judes
Dexter Baum, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 876 Tarawitt Drive to Moskovitz Real Estate and Equipment Co. LLC for $1.4 million. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 3,214 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,000 in 1980.

The Promenade
Thomas and Karen Fitzgibbons, of Lake, Ill., sold their Unit 603 condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael Sherrow and Ellen Leef-Sherrow, of New York, for $700,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,585 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $660,000 in 2009.

Beachplace
Edgar Michaels sold his Unit 205 condominium at 1125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Beachplace 205 Partners LP for $655,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,819 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $229,000 in 1991.

Bay Isles
Patrick and Judith Mellett, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 3440 Bayou Sound to Theodore and Lindsay Prospect, of Wilton, Conn., for $645,000. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,478 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $659,000 in 2003.

Buttonwood Cove
Robert and Mary Lee sold their Unit 205 condominium at 3660 Gulf of Mexico Drive to William and Maryl Levine, of Longboat Key, for $400,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,486 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $377,500 in 2010.

Fairway Bay
James Hunder, of Sarasota, and Judith Hunder, of North Plymouth, Minn., sold their Unit 303 condominium at 1906 Harbourside Drive to Harold and Lynn Wellings, of New Milford, Conn., for $375,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,626 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $485,000 in 2002.
Lawrence Kidd, trustee, of Jackson, Ohio, sold the Unit 452 condominium at 2020 Harbourside Drive to Steven and Ann Moser, of Longboat Key, for $340,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2009.

Bayport Beach and Tennis Club
Robert and Marilyn Marchewka, of Orlando, sold their Unit 510 condominium at 510 Bayport Way to Sanford and Elizabeth Wolf, of Orange Village, Ohio, for $331,500. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $159,000 in 1988.

Lido Shores
Richard and Lynn Hackel, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1340 John Ringling Parkway to Randon and Lynn Carvel, of Sarasota, for $1.75 million. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,862 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,535,000 in 2012.
Joseph DeLeo, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1340 Westway Drive to Daniel Jittu, trustee, of Sarasota, for $710,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 1,935 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $675,000 in 2003.

BIRD KEY
Richard and Marjorie Singer, of Sarasota, sold their home at 271 Robin Drive to Ronald Manganiello, of Rowayton, Conn., for $1,465,000. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,349 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $900,000 in 2007.

ST. ARMANDS KEY
Sarasota Harbour East
August and Dorothy Guadagno, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1 condominium at 775 John Ringling Blvd. to Michael Adkinson, of Sarasota, for $258,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 938 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1996.

Linda Smith, Victoria Profetta and C.J. Rapp, of Naples, N.Y., sold their Unit 5 condominium at 777 John Ringling Blvd. to Robbye Langenfeld, trustee, of Sarasota, for $250,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 880 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $427,500 in 2007.
