Historical Society to celebrate town's 55th anniversary

The Longboat Key Historical Society will celebrate the town’s 55th anniversary from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at a wine tasting at Harry’s Continental Kitchens, 525 St. Judes Drive.

The event will feature a cake in honor of the town’s incorporation, which took place Nov. 14, 1955. Cost is $10, $5 of which will be donated to the Historical Society. Call 383-0777.
