High Five Moments of the Week

1 - The Out-of-Door Academy’s Zach Szmania set a pair of new school records in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 breaststroke Oct. 2.

2 - The Sarasota Christian boys golf team shot a combined 306 to finish second at the annual Donald Ross Memorial Invitational Oct. 6, at Sara Bay Country Club.

3 - Maddie McNally finished with 15 kills, four digs and two aces to help lead the Cardinal Mooney volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Bradenton Christian Sept. 30.

4 - Toni Mogensen and Jessica Shiffner contributed five kills each to lead the Sarasota volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-13, 25-12 district victory over North Port Oct. 2.

5 - Isabella Stepanek shot 38 to help lead the Sarasota girls golf team to a second-place finish in a tri-match with Manatee and Riverview Oct. 3.
