Last month, resident Angie Hawthorne was treated at Doctors Hospital. She wanted to personally thank the nurse who helped her during her stay.Doctors Hospital arranged a surprise presentation last week, during which Hawthorne presented nurse Lisa Cherry with flowers and a “Bravo” award, which recognizes hospital employees who go above and beyond.

“She took care of me,” Hawthorne said. “If she wouldn’t have done what she had done, I would have been dead.”
