Hayes offers update to constituents

Manatee County Commissioner Donna Hayes updated East County residents on everything from the impacts of the federal stimulus package to the ongoing dispute over the Tara Bridge during her District 5 Advisory Committee meeting this morning at The Preserver Golf Club.

Hayes also welcomed guest speakers Bill Hutchinson, director of public safety, and Charlie Hunsicker, director of natural resources, to speak.

Hutchinson touched on topics such as the emergency medical services and animal services, while Hunsicker provided an update on the Jiggs Landing site, which is for construction in August.
