Gullett students publish first book

You may want to get autographs from students in Jackie Vixamar’s first-grade class at Gullett Elementary — while you still can.

The class published recently its first book, “If You Give a Student a Gator Bait ...” The book is the culmination of an ongoing class project based on the school’s Positive Behavior System.

The authors and their parents enjoyed an Authors Tea Jan. 13 to celebrate the book’s release.
