Grand theft suspect nabbed at Burger King

Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested a 30-year-old man who was wanted in Sarasota County for grand theft, resisting arrest and giving a false name.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office arrested Jeremiah Lee, 30, at 2:18 a.m. Sept. 7, at the Burger King parking lot located at 6504 State Road 64 East, Bradenton.

Deputy units set up and approached a nearby house and Lee was spotted emerging from the wooded area between the Circle K and Burger King. He started walking, but began to run when he saw a K-9 unit approaching. K-9 Timo was released and took Lee down to the grass. Lee received a minor puncture and scrapes and was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
