Giving Challenge totals $2.4 million

The 36-Hour Giving Partner Challenge wrapped up Wednesday evening. A grand total of 10,705 donations were made resulting in more than $2.4 million.

The Manatee Players Inc raised the most amount of money at $188,091, and also received the most "gifts" ar 732, which is 260 gifts more than second place.

To see the leaderboard, click here. More than 100 nonprofites benefited from the drive. Other top winners include New College Foundation Incorporated, Cat Depot, Florida Studio Theatre Inc and the Sarasota In Defense of Animals Inc.
