Four-bedroom Bird Key home sells for $2.37 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between June 4 and June 8. Two homes on Bird Key top all transactions in this week’s real estate. Robert and Virginia Reck, trustees, of Rangeley, Maine, sold the home at 566 S. Spoonbill Drive to Teresa Franklin, trustee, of Atlanta, for $2.37 million. Built in 1965, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,818 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $652,400 in 1994.

Sleepy Lagoon Park
GCB Design and Construction LLC sold the home at 812 Marbury Lane to Michelle Fabozzi, of Staten Island, N.Y., for $1.62 million. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 3,948 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.25 million in 2004.

Celia Edmundson, of Longboat Key, sold her home at 813 Marbury Lane to John and Susan Coneys, of Greenwich, Conn., for $1,462,500. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,927 square feet of living area.

Buttonwood Harbor
Joseph and Deborah Lattuga, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8 Winslow Place to 8WINSLOWPLACE Inc. for $1,285,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,288 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2001.

Country Club Shores
Thomas and Bonnie Geyman, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 600 Bowsprit Lane to James and Lou Ann Ranck, of Mount Pleasant, Mich., for $1,275,000. Built in 1998, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,411 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.35 million in 2002.

The Water Club at Longboat Key
Patrick and Celina Griffin, of Manchester, N.H., sold their Unit 204 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kenneth and Susan Press, of Randolph, N.J., for $1.2 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,054 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,330,100 in 2008.

The Pierre
Maxine Fornasiero, of Clarence, N.Y., sold her Unit 706 condominium at 455 Longboat Club Road to James and Jane Harris, of Richfield, Ohio, for $830,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.39 million in 2005.

Tangerine Bay Club
Gloria Lundy, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 237 condominium at 350 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Arthur and Nancy Lutzke, of Amagansett, N.Y., for $785,000. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,513 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $537,300 in 1993.

Sea Gate Club
Elliot and Carolyn Joseph, of Hartford, Conn., sold their Unit 13-B condominium at 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Tracey Cormier, of Cranberry, Pa., for $675,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $935,000 in 2006.

Cedars East
Frances Katz, of Montreal, sold the Units 25 and 26 condominiums at 836 Evergreen Way to Robert Radin, of Longboat Key, for $510,000. Built in 1991, it has six bedrooms, four baths and 2,813 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $288,000 in 1999.

Longboat Key Estates
Diane Malven-Pang and Dorothy Malven-Heig, of Olympia Valley, Calif., sold their home at 616 Rountree Drive to Richard and Kimberly Lyons, of Longboat Key, for $499,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,427 square feet of living area.

Beachplace
Patricia Carella, of Norton, Mass., sold her Unit 404 condominium at 1095 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Carol Lombardi, of Ontario, Canada, for $480,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $163,000 in 1985.

Winding Oaks
Henry and Selma Medvin, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 28 condominium at 3455 Winding Oaks Drive to Mohamed Zaki, of Longboat Key, for $480,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,073 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 1991.

Longboat Harbour
Joseph Tirita III, of Wallingford, Conn., and Gregory Tirita, of Oxford, Conn., sold the Unit 204 condominium at 4350 Chatham Drive to John and Maureen Shea, trustees, of Tiverton, R.I., for $160,000. Built in 1969, it has one bedroom, one bath and 667 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $75,000 in 1982.

Bird Key
Dennis and Pearl Hedlund, of Long Branch, N.J., sold their home at 601 Mourning Dove Drive to Lou and Elizabeth Donato, of Sarasota, for $1.65 million. Built in 1963, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,961 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.2 million in 2003.

Dorothy Hawkins, of Sarasota, sold her home at 609 S. Owl Drive to Jonathan and Susan Morgan, of Harwich Port, Mass., for $540,000. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,755 square feet of living area.

St. Armands Division of John Ringling Estates
Wendy Cooney sold her home at 375 N. Washington Drive to David Haenel, of Sarasota, for $690,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,374 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $260,000 in 1996.
