Four-bedroom Bay Isles home sells for $3.4 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3.

A home in Bay Isles tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Robert and Judith Lemon, trustees, sold the home at 551 Harbor Point Road to Marsha Sobey, trustee, of Nova Scotia, Canada, for
$3.4 million. Built in 2011, it has four bedrooms, six baths, a pool and 4,993 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3,097,000 in 2011.

Beach Walk
Ronald and Patricia Benjamin, of Johnson, Kansas, sold their Unit 19 condominium at 6845 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Brady Bunch Seven LLC for $1.01 million. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $830,000 in 2000.

Country Club Shores
Gordon and Sandra Niles, of Brighton, Mich., sold their home at 582 Ranger Lane to Robert Halliday, of Stirling, Scotland, for $700,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,246 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $872,000 in 2003.

Harbour Oaks at Longboat Key Club
June Green, trustee, of Tampa, sold the Unit 403 condominium at 2193 Harbourside Drive to Michael and Elaine Rogers, of Bronxville, N.Y., for $375,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,224 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $221,000 in 1998.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Charles Preston, of Ontario, Canada, sold his Unit 155 condominium at 548 Spanish Drive N. to Edwin and Mary Ortiz, of Sarasota, for $315,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2013.

Sutton Place
Betty Hillman, trustee, sold the Unit 301 condominium at 605 Sutton Place to David and Patricia Baer, of Pittsburgh, for $279,500. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,148 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $147,000 in 1992.

Ronald Sobotka Jr. and Cynthia Collins sold the Unit 105 condominium at 605 Sutton Place to Edward and Victoria Salisbury, of Ontario, Canada, for $245,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 775 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 2010.

The Beach Residences

Gerald Swartz, of New York, sold his Unit 507 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Steven White, of Sarasota, for $1,575,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 3,057 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2005.

John Ringling Estates
John Georgi, of Carlsbad, Calif., sold his home at 146 S. Washington Drive to Emilio Palermo and Robin Palermo, of Sarasota, for $1,325,000. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,327 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 1998.

LIDO KEY
St. Armands Towers

James Cameron and Vlasta Gapic, of Ontario, Canada, sold the Unit 9-N condominium at 101 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Mary Sherman, trustee, of Kansas City, Mo., for $1.45 million. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,550 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.41 million in 2010.

Lido Harbour South
Jack Teverbaugh, trustee, sold the Unit 106 condominium at 2110 Benjamin Franklin Drive to James and Pamela Harding, of Sarasota, for $369,500. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area.

Lido Surf and Sand
Regina Thorn, of Pittsburgh, sold her Unit 405 condominium at 1100 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Vicky Weis, of Sarasota, for $265,000. Built in 1976, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 918 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $95,000 in 1993.
