FIVE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT: Mandy Peebles

1. Mandy Peebles says she loves shopping. “It’s a bad habit to enjoy,” she said, laughing.

2. Peebles taught herself to play guitar watching Youtube videos. Now, she uses the hobby as a way to relieve stress or take a break from studying.

3. Despite her solid academic performance, Mandy says she often times has had trouble focusing on schoolwork. “I think senioritis is a true thing,” she says. “I’ve definitely had to force myself to focus this year.”

4. Peebles played volleyball at Braden River High her freshman and sophomore years. She still loves the sport.

5. Peebles recently took third place in the state in the healthcare administration test at the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference.
