The episode of “Emeril’s Florida” that features Maison Blanche chef/owner Jose Martinez will air at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, on the Cooking Channel.

Martinez is one of three Florida chefs who moved to Florida from other countries to be featured on the episode.

Lagasse also filmed a segment for a future episode at Beach Bistro on Holmes Beach.

Also featured in this week’s episode are Hari and Jenneffer Pulapaka’s Cress Restaurant, in DeLand, and chef BT Nguyen, of Restaurant BT in Tampa, along with aspiring chef Guillermo Quezada, a Tampa high school student originally from the Dominican Republic, who was named “Florida’s Top High School Chef” in the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association’s ProStart Competition in 2013.

“Coming to America” is the season two premier of “Emeril’s Florida.” The episode is scheduled to air again at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, and 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9. All times are EST. Check local listings for more information.
