Eat Here opens rooftop lounge with a benefit

Sarasota’s Eat Here, downtown, will open its new rooftop lounge with a fundraiser Friday, Nov. 22.

The downtown restaurant invites guests to enjoy food and drinks in a treetop setting while giving back to the community.

Eat Here is asking attendees to donate $25, which will be given the Mayors Feed the Hungry program to benefit the area’s needy.

“Since we are opening the rooftop lounge so close to Thanksgiving, it seems natural that a restaurant owner would demonstrate concern for those who struggle with knowing where their next meals will come from,” Sean Murphy said in a press release.

The benefit takes place from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Eat Here, 1888 Main St. For more information, call 365-8700.
