1 — Braden River High senior girls basketball O'Mariah Gordon was named the 2021 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball on March 22. Gordon averaged 23 points, 4.8 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.

2 — Braden River High senior girls basketball guard Cheyenne Stubbs committed to Canisius College (Buffalo, N.Y.) March 19.

3 — Matt Jenkins sank a hole-in-one March 14 on the No. 17 hole on the Royal Lakes course at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. Jenkins used a 6-iron on the 175-yard hole.

4 — Lakewood Ranch High junior girls track and field runner Maya Bridgeford finished second (57.62 seconds) in the 400-meter dash March 20 at the IMG Academy Spring Break Invitational.

5 — Braden River High sophomore baseball shortstop Cesar Valera went 3-4 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs March 17 in the Pirates' 9-2 road win against IMG Academy White.
