East County-based Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue seeks donations of new and used golf carts, which the organization will use to transport supplies and animals around its eight-acre no-kill ranch shelter, off Lorraine Road.

The rescue is powered by an all-volunteer team. It has rescued more than 3,500 animals since 2008 — of those, 1,013 were rescued just last year.
