Denver vs Seattle? No matter who you choose to win the big game, one thing is for certain: You've got to have the right cocktails. Let’s be honest, everybody watches the same game differently. Some fans enjoy their favorite local sports bar. Maybe you'll even one of the lucky few fans sitting in the stands, watching your team dominate the game.

If you're like me and host a big-game party, then I have some great ideas to serve both your male and female guests. Men have beer right? So, why not have a bloody Mary with a twist? The twist being a great cocktail that includes the traditional bloody Mary as well as a fan-favorite alcoholic beverage all in one. So for the men, let’s combine these simple ingredients to make a drink no one will forget.

In a 12 oz. pilsner glass, combine these ingredients to make this delicious and easy drink:

  • Let’s start by making our unforgettable celery salt or cumin salt:
    • Mix 6 ounces of kosher salt and 6 ounces of celery salt (or cumin) to create a savory rim
    • Adhere to glass by lining rim with lime or lemon wedge
  • Fill glass to the top with ice
  • Fill halfway with preferred light beer
  • Fill the rest with bloody Mary mix

And, for those ladies, this is personally one of my favorite cocktails:

Pomegranate Punt

In a cocktail shaker, combine these delicious and simple ingredients to make a drink even Peyton Manning would throw a touchdown for!

  • Fill cocktail shaker to brim with ice
  • 2 ounces preferred vodka
  • 4 ounces pomegranate juice
  • 2 ounces peach nectar
  • 2 ounces aloe water
  • Shake well and strain mixture over ice into a 12 oz. hurricane glass

Have a memorable “Big Game” Sunday this year!
