The nautical theme throughout Terri Young’s Siesta Key home stems from her love of the water, diving and underwater photography. Although many of her treasures were brought locally, most were collected during her travels throughout Florida and to the Caribbean, Mexico and Honduras.

The idea for her sea life-inspired guest bathroom started with a mosaic reef of tile, shells and glass mosaic water around the bottom of the walls and expanded to hand-painted water with a plethora of fish swimming about. Young’s Keys room is decorated with a mosaic tile bench overlooking the water. Hanging from the ceiling is netting with shells, glass channel marker balls, floats and a fish wearing diving gear.
