Longboat Key residents Ian and Audrey Sharp celebrated 50 golden years Aug. 10, at the Deerhurst Resort, in Ontario, with their family.

The couple married Aug. 10, 1963, in Toronto.

At the anniversary celebration, the couple found a flower arrangement in their room that looked familiar. Their family had sent a photo of the original arrangement of pink gladioli and carnations from their wedding to a florist who recreated the arrangement for the special occasion.
