County offices to close for holidays

Manatee County government offices will be closed for the Christmas holiday.

Offices will be closed Dec. 24-25, as well as on Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

Residents in unincorporated parts of the county will not have trash pickup on Christmas or New Year’s days. Makeup days for collections of solid wastes and recycling will be the day after those holidays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Additionally, Manatee County Area Transit will suspend its fixed route and Handy Bus services at 3 p.m., Dec. 24 and will resume service Dec. 26. Services also will be suspended Jan. 1 and will resume Jan. 2.
