July 22

HUNG OUT TO DRY
7 p.m. — 1300 block of 32nd Street
Dispute: A woman reported that her landlord was refusing to let her do laundry. The landlord told an officer that she thought the woman was not keeping up with her household chores, and the laundry privileges were revoked as a result. The officer informed the landlord that it was unlawful for her to not allow the woman to do laundry.

July 23

BAD TRIP
11:25 p.m. — 3500 block of Tangier Terrace
Suspicion: A motorist reported a naked man walking along the street. An officer found the man, who appeared to be under the influence of a drug. After being taken into protective custody, the man became more coherent. He said he took what he believed was marijuana and did not know what happened afterwards. Another officer was unable to find the man’s clothes in the area surrounding where he was found.

July 24

TEEN TROUBLES
11:59 a.m. — 2200 block of Hawthorne Street
Property Damage: A man said two teenage boys hit his door and yelled profane things while he was inside his home. The boys then knocked his mailbox down before fleeing the area. The man attempted to pursue the boys, but they split up and he was unable to catch them. The man estimated the boys were about 14 years old, and estimated the value of his mailbox at around $50.

July 25

HAIL MARY
8:07 a.m. — 1000 block of Siesta Drive
Suspicion: A caller saw a man standing on a bridge and alerted the police, concerned for his well being. On the way to the scene, an officer contacted the bridge operator to get some more information regarding the man. The bridge operator saw the man, but said it looked like he was just trying to flag down cars to get a ride. The officer found the man near the bridge, and the man said his car broke down nearby and he was trying to catch a ride as a result. The officer advised him not to try to flag down vehicles and to stay on the sidewalk, away from traffic.

HANDLE MAN
3:40 p.m. — 1700 block of Main Street
Suspicion: A person reported that a man wearing all green clothing was pulling on door handles in the area. An officer was unable to locate the suspect.
