HIT & RUN

Suspicion: A man was waiting for the bus with his bicycle. When the bus came, it struck the front tire of his bicycle, he said. The man placed his bicycle on the front of the bus as another passenger exited, and when the man went to pick his backpack up off the sidewalk, the driver left the area before the man could get on. After officers arrived, the bus returned to the scene and the man retrieved his bicycle. A representative for the bus service said he would investigate the man’s claims and review video from the bus.

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

Suspicious incident: A man entered a grocery store and began yelling vulgar statements. He approached one customer and told her he was going to get in front of her in line, at which point the customer told the man to leave her alone. The woman’s male friend entered the store, and he also asked the man to leave her alone. The man then pulled out a pistol and threatened the two as he left the store.
