Storage wars
3100 block of Whitfield Ave.
Trespass Warning: Two “chaps” stored personal property at a woman’s business, with her permission, in a trailer. Due to past issues, the owner of the property wanted the two men kept off her property, so the Sheriff’s Office dispatched a deputy to observe them removing their property and give them a trespass warning. The responding deputy described the two men as one being “short and squirrely” and the other, “tall and lithe.” The men removed a custom-built motorcycle and partial frame from the trailer in which it was stored, described by the deputy as a “beat-up conveyance.” The deputy said in his report that the property owner is known to him to be a “trusting soul” and has often gotten into problems because of her kind actions, allowing people to store items on her property. He advised her to “find another way to be of assistance to humankind.”
