The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

BARRINGTON RIDGE
 Oct. 25

5 p.m. — 6100 block of 39th Court East. Petit theft. The victim stated her iPod and an accessory were taken from her bedroom while she was gone. The victim stated she believes her daughter’s boyfriend may be involved because he was the only other person in the house besides her daughter.
 
COUNTRY OAKS
 Oct. 26

10:45 p.m. — 4800 block of Country Oaks Boulevard. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s open garage. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed two bicycles and fled in an unknown direction. The bicycles were later found in the road a few blocks away from the victim’s residence and released back to the victim.
 
Oct. 27
12:01 a.m. — 4700 block of Country Oaks Boulevard. Grand theft auto. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle, which was parked in her driveway. The keys were left inside the vehicle. The suspect(s) drove away in the victim’s vehicle in an unknown direction.
 
RIVERDALE
 Oct. 27

8:15 a.m. — 200 block of 43rd Street Boulevard Northeast. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s home by prying open the front door. Once inside, the person(s) removed various electronic items and jewelry. The suspect(s) exited through the front door and then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means.
 
OTHER
 Oct. 25

8:30 a.m. — 6300 block of 48th Avenue Drive East. Fraudulent use of credit cards. The complainant stated she received a call from her bank stating there was unusual activity on her debit account. When she looked online, she realized that someone was making purchases on her debit card account without her permission.
 
Oct. 26
8:05 p.m. — 2911 53rd Ave. E. (Wal-Mart). Retail theft. The female suspect reportedly removed $104.94 in property and exited the store, passing all points of sale. The suspect was stopped by loss prevention and escorted to the office, where she was charged with retail theft.
 
Reported Oct. 26
9:04 a.m. — 3200 block of 81st Court East. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the side door of the enclosed trailer by cutting the lock with an unknown tool. Once inside, the person(s) removed $3,100 in property. The area was dusted for prints and photos were taken of the scene.
 
Oct. 27
2:45 a.m. — 8450 Lockwood Ridge Road (Albertsons). Theft. A white male entered the store and stole about $75 in groceries. The complainant stated another customer told her the male suspect walked out of the store with a shopping cart filled with groceries. She stated when she went outside to investigate; she saw a white male running to a vehicle in the parking lot. The white male then started throwing the groceries into a waiting car, which was driven by another white male. Both males then fled in the vehicle, leaving some of the groceries behind. The complainant was able to get a tag number for the vehicle.

10 a.m. — 100 block of 48th Street Court East. Burglary to a dwelling. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspect removed $6,985 in property.

1:30 p.m. — 2911 53rd Ave. E. (Wal-Mart). Retail theft. Two female suspects, who are reportedly mother and daughter, entered the store and proceeded to the toy department. The suspects selected a baby car seat, opened the box and put the car seat in their grocery cart. The suspect(s) then placed the daughter’s baby in the car seat and passed all points of sale without attempting to pay for it.
