The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

BRADEN WOODS
 June 15

5:50 p.m. — 5900 block of Pine Tree Drive. Fraudulent use of a credit card. The complainant noticed a charge on her checking account statement for $403. She does not know who took the card, but she stated she suspects it was her ex-husband. The complainant is in possession of the card and has reported it to the bank.

COUNTRY MEADOWS
 June 13

10 a.m. — 400 block of Country Meadows Way. Grand theft. The victim reported an unknown person stole an iPod and a Nikon camera from his residence.

GATES CREEK
 June 17

7 p.m. — 11600 block of Fourth Avenue East. Stolen vehicle. The victim’s unlocked vehicle was stolen from his residence. The extra set of keys may have been left in the center console.

GREYHAWK LANDING
 June 17 

7:15 p.m. — 12500 block of Natureview Circle. Vehicle burglary. Unknown subject(s) entered the vehicle’s unlocked driver’s side rear door. Once inside, the subject(s) removed several items, which were found at the corner of GreyHawk Boulevard and Natureview Circle. A similar incident was reported down the street.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
 June 16

6:30 p.m. — 8100 block of Nature’s Way. Vehicle burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and stole $340 in items. The victim stated she thinks she locked the car doors before going into her residence, but she was not sure. The person(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction.

MYAKKA CITY
 Reported June 18

3 p.m. — 34500 block of State Road 70 East. Identity theft. The victim reported she had fraudulent activity on her bank account. The victim received a statement from her bank, stating that she had overdrawn from her account. Upon further investigation, the bank showed the victim that the checks were used at a Publix in Jacksonville and at a Wal-Mart in an unknown location.

RIVER CLUB
 June 16

6 a.m. — 7200 block of Pine Valley Street. Theft. The victim stated that an unknown person stole a checkbook binder containing 300 checks from her residence. She contacted her bank and closed the account. She was then advised that the bank was going to monitor the account for checks written against it.

PALM-AIRE
 June 20

7 p.m. — 5800 block of Fairwoods Circle. Vehicle burglary. An unknown suspect entered the unlocked vehicle without permission. Once inside, the suspect stole $301 worth of property.

PERIDIA
 Reported June 18

11:58 a.m. — 4400 block of Pro Am Avenue East. Scheme to defraud. The complainant reported that she had given a $900 check to a man to refinish her driveway. She stated she hasn’t heard from the man, and another report of the same man with the same name doing this had been previously documented.

QUAIL WALK
 June 14

10:30 p.m. — 7000 block of 85th Street Court East. Criminal mischief. The victim reported that an unknown person spray-painted the word “Sellout” on his garage door. He stated that he doesn’t know who committed the crime or if there were any witnesses.

ROSEDALE
 June 18

4:20 p.m. — 5000 block of 88th Street East. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. The complainant stated he was doing some work outside and opened his garage door. He then went inside, and when he came back to the garage, he noticed that his golf clubs were missing. The complainant stated he did see the golf clubs before he went inside, but no one was seen at the time of the incident.

OTHER
 June 12

12:21 p.m. — 6225 S.R. 64 E. (Wal-Mart). Fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim reported that after her wallet was stolen she discovered that an unknown person charged $2,415.98. The charges occurred at Wal-Mart and Toys “R” Us.
