The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

COOPER CREEK
 June 6

1 p.m. — 8000 block of Cooper Creek Boulevard. Burglary. While driving through the parking lot, the victim was cut off and stopped from driving by a dark colored four-door vehicle. An unknown white female exited the vehicle, shouting at the victim, and identified herself as a police officer. The suspect reportedly reached into the victim’s car, grabbed the victim’s hand and snatched a paper out of the victim’s hand. The suspect then returned to her vehicle and sped off the premises.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
 Reported June 3

2:06 p.m. — 14405 State Road 70 E. (Dunkin' Donuts). Grand theft. The complainant was notified by accounting that numerous deposit slips were missing from the past month. He researched the past week and found $4,400 worth of cash deposits were missing. It’s estimated that $15,000 to $20,000 may have been taken over the past month. One employee, who was recently let go, was suspected of taking the money. The former employee was interviewed and denied the allegation.

June 4
10:01 a.m. — 6500 block of Oakland Hills Drive. Burglary. An unknown person entered the rear-enclosed porch and pried open the rear sliding glass door setting off the alarm. The alarm company contacted a neighbor, who is a key holder, and less than two minutes later, he arrived at the home. He stated that he didn’t see anyone at the time of the incident and nothing appears to be missing from the home at this time.

June 5
5:50 p.m. — 1600 block of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. Uttering a forged instrument. The victim reported that two of her business checks had been forged and an employee attempted to cash them.

Reported June 7
5:30 p.m. — 6300 block of Blackberry Lane. Burglary to dwelling. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s garage without permission, stole a bicycle and then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means. It is unknown if the garage door was open or closed or if anyone was home at the time of the incident.

MILL CREEK
 June 5

11:30 p.m. — 13500 block of 3rd Avenue Northeast. Burglary to vehicle. Unknown subject(s) entered the unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. Once inside, the subject(s) went through the vehicle and removed several items. The subject(s) then fled the scene by unknown means.

TARA
 June 4

3:20 p.m. — 5455 Tara Blvd. (Regions Bank). Battery. The unknown male suspect was a passenger with two females, both of whom the victim recognizes from school. The victim had let the vehicle in front of him when the suspect began giving hand gesture s to the victim and his girlfriend. The vehicles went separate ways, but several minutes later while waiting in the second lane of the bank’s drive thru, the vehicle returned and the suspect came up to the victim and struck him in the face. One of the females was yelling at the victim, accusing him of swerving at them.

OTHER
 Reported June 3

1:15 p.m. — 7290 55th Ave. E. (Publix). Grand theft. The complainant reported that an unknown white female came into the store and stole 72 packs of razor blades totaling $1,262.29.

June 4
3:24 p.m. — 7365 52nd Place E. (Bealls). Retail theft. While shopping at the store, the two female suspects concealed multiple articles of clothing in the first suspect’s handbag. She then proceeded out of the store, failing to stop at any point of sale. She was met in the parking lot by loss prevention, and both suspects were detained until law enforcement arrived. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Manatee County Jail.

Reported June 5
4:30 p.m. — 3506 81st Court E. (United Site Services of Florida). Vehicle theft. Unknown person(s) stole a black flatbed, wire mesh trailer from the business. The trailer is valued at $60.
