The city of Sarasota will close the eastbound land of Myrtle Avenue at the intersection with Bradenton Road for construction from Wednesday, July 17, through Friday, July 19.

Construction crews will prepare to relocate a water line as part of the Bradenton Road improvement project, preventing eastbound traffic from approaching the intersection, as well as northbound and southbound traffic from turning east onto Myrtle Avenue.

The improvement project will result in roundabouts at Myrtle Avenue and 47th Street, and sidewalks along both sides of Bradenton Road.
