Commission approves apartments

Manatee County commissioners today voted unanimously to approve site plan changes the future Parkcrest Landings apartment complex, just south of Bennett Park.

The modification will allow developer CKT Development to build 400 units, rather than the 376 previously approved. 

The complex, which already is under construction, will have three-story, walk-up style apartment buildings.

CKT President Cindy Taylor said she expects the leasing office to open in January, with the first residential buildings opening within the following 60 days.
