Several new residential developments are on their way to the area, ranging from single-family homes to town homes to much-needed rental housing. Here’s a quick glance at a few of the for sale and rental communities coming up.
The basics: A 700-acre multigenerational lifestyle community with 1,500 homes, villas and town homes.
What’s special: Amenities will include a club, fitness center, resort-style pool, dog park and event lawn and trails.
Where is it now: Phase one includes 300 single-family homes, town homes and paired villas ranging from 1,500 to more than 4,000 square feet. D.R. Horton has started construction and model homes are estimated to be open this spring.

The basics: A 223-acre development featuring 500 single-family homes and maintenance-free paired villas.
What’s special: The community offers resort-style amenities, including a pool, clubhouse, playground, Sports Courts, a pump track, fitness studio and more.
Where is it now: Sales reservations and models will open in mid-March.

The basics: 164 town homes and 52 single-family homes, from 1,700 to 2,400 square feet and featuring rear-load garages and courtyards.
What’s special: Amenities include trails to Waterside Place, a community pool and cabana.

The basics: 54 water and preserve sites as part of its new Kingfisher phase. A total of 31 of the home sites will have long southerly views overlooking Kingfisher Lake, while the other 23 will have private wooded preserve views.
What’s special: Additional amenities will include a 10-foot-wide walking trail planned to give residents the ability to walk or bike to Waterside Place.
