While children were working in art teacher Rose Stock's classroom, The East County Observer caught up with children in Steve Spisak's fourth-grade class to find out what medium they most enjoy.

What is your favorite medium and why?

"Clay because it's messy."

"Clay because when I use clay, it feels really fund, and I get messy a lot. It's fun to get messy."

"I have to say acrylic paints. It's really dark and pretty."

"Acrylic paint because it's so bright and colorful. You get to express your feelings with it."
