Wardrobe malfunction
 4:09 p.m.
— 7365 52nd Place E. (Bealls). Grand theft. The suspect selected a cart full of merchandise, mainly children’s clothing, and proceeded to the front of the store. He then grabbed the merchandise from the cart and exited the store, passing all points of sale without making an attempt to pay. In the parking lot, the complainant identified himself as loss prevention, and the suspect attempted to flee with the merchandise in his hands. The complainant chased the suspect, who turned and threw all of the merchandise at him. The suspect continued to flee. The complainant, with the help of two other loss prevention officers, took the suspect to the ground only to be thrown off. The suspect made it to the Circle K across the street from the store, where the responding deputy apprehended him from underneath a broken door in the car wash area. The suspect was transported back to the store to gather all information and an affidavit before being transported to the Manatee County Jail.
