City hosting parking forum

The public is invited to attend and participate in a city-sponsored parking management forum 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 23 in the Jack Geldbart Auditorium within the Selby Library, 1331 First Street, Sarasota.

Staff from the Parking Services Management Department will facilitate a discussion about the paid parking program, which will help prompt improvements within the parking system.

“We would like an open dialogue to improve the system,” said Parking Manager Mark Lyons, in a news release. “Everyone is welcome…business owners throughout the city, residents, shoppers and visitors. We want input that will spur improvement.”
