On April 28, beloved Longboat Key swan Sully died. David Novak found him looking lethargic and took him to the vet, where his heartbeat and respiratory rates went up, but neither lasted long. His cause of death is most likely a bacterial infection.
Sully’s mate, Susie, welcomed their four new cygnets (above) this week.
