Children's World named charity giveaway store

by: Nick Friedman Managing Editor of Arts and Culture

TD Monthly, a toy- and hobby-trade magazine, recently selected Children’s World Uniform Supply and Toy Store, 4525 Bee Ridge Road, as its charity giveaway store after a national search.

Through a partnership with specialty toy companies, including Infinitoy, Glide Bikes and Safari, the store will give away approximately $3,000 worth of new toys to several local charities.

Owner Tim Holliday is asking the public to help participate by submitting their names and favorite charity to a raffle.

The person who submits the winning entry will win a toy sample from each company for themselves and the charity of their choice.

The winning entry and other charities will be chosen Saturday, July 6.

This is the second time the toy store has won the award.
