Children’s Fountain closes after lightning strike

The Children’s Fountain at Bayfront Park is closed today and Tuesday after lightning struck the attraction.

The Children’s Fountain at Bayfront Park is closed for repairs after a lightning strike, the city announced today.

The fountain will be closed today and Tuesday for electrical work. The fountain is expected to be open for its regular hours over the weekend.

The fountain is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
