Chef Jamie Gregorich eliminated from 'Hell's Kitchen'

Euphemia Haye sous chef Jamie Gregorich was eliminated from season nine of FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen” tonight in the show’s ninth and latest episode. This season premiered Monday, July 18.

During the romantic dessert challenge, Gregorich presented a croissant fig bread pudding that got three stars, out of a possible six stars, from guest judges. The red team, of which Gregorich is a part, went on to win that round and a trip to Las Vegas.

After “Date Night” dinner service at Hell’s Kitchen, Chef Gordon Ramsay declared the blue team the winner.

Even though the red team nominated Elise and Carrie for elimination, Ramsay eliminated Gregorich because he said he was getting no response from her.

“It is tough to swallow my pride and walk out those doors,” Gregorich said at the end of the episode.

In a prior interview with the Longboat Observer, Gregorich shared some of the lessons Ramsay taught her.

“Never give up,” she said. “Don’t let other people hold you back on anything you’re trying to accomplish. And respect the food you work with.”
