Charter school preps for expansion

Imagine School at Lakewood Ranch is preparing for a boost in enrollment this coming school year with the addition of an eighth grade and a VPK program and will hold several New School Expos in the coming months.

New School Expo events will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Jan. 13, Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 at the school, 10535 Portal Crossing.

School officials expect the expansion to draw in about 150 more students, bringing the charter school’s enrollment to about 600.
