Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation awards $3.4 million in grants

The foundation has approved more than $6 million in grants in 2017.

The Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation board of directors recently approved more than $3.4 million in grants and initiatives. This brings the foundation’s grant total to more than
$6 million for 2017 so far. The grants are investments to improve subjects ranging from math and reading education to medical models for treating childhood trauma in the Longboat and Sarasota areas.
