Cedar Cove home sells for $5 million

A home in Cedar Cove tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Renee Hamad, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1814 Roland St. to Kevin and Kimberly Kalkhoven, of Sarasota, for $5 million. Built in 1990, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 8,839 square feet of living area.

Revised Siesta
Kenneth and Lynne Whitmore, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4034 Roberts Point Road to Daniel and Michele Hogan, of Sarasota, for $2,750,000. Built in 1990, it has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,049 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,130,000 in 2011.
 

OSPREY: $800,000

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
William Kaska, of Sarasota, sold his home at 337 Passage Way to Homeostasis LLC for $800,000. Built in 1984, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,551 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $420,000 in 2012.

PALMER RANCH: $605,000

The Country Club of Sarasota
Samuel and Linda Klafter sold their home at 3738 Spyglass Hill Road to Holger and Regina Dries, of Sarasota, for $605,000. Built in 1983, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,314 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $455,000 in 2004.

Sapphire Shores
Harry Leopold, of Sarasota, sold his home at 350 S. Shore Drive to Michael and Desiree Trahan, of Sarasota, for $2.6 million. Built in 1996, it has five bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,099 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,122,000 in 2014.

Kenneth  Cameron, of Sarasota, sold his home at 4946 Brywill Cirlce to Patrick and Iceseas Farrell, of Sarasota, for $825,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $890,000 in 2005.

Hartsdale
Raymond Moon and Christina Moon, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1943 Morris St. to Daniel and Melody Suzor, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,972 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2006.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 401 condominium at 1301 Tamiami Trail to Alan and Loraine Zuckerman, of Sarasota, for $525,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,832 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $571,500 in 2002.

Susan Berlinghoff and Donald Berlinghoff, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1895 Clematis St. to Jan Fintel, of Lakewood Ranch, for $450,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,512 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $74,000 in 1987.

Daniel Delisle, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 58 condominium at 1427 Landings Place to S K Sand Dollar LLC for $425,000. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,048 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $410,000 in 2013.

Pelican Cove
W. Alan and Helen Williams sold their Unit 279 condominium at 1511 Pelican Point Drive to Martin and Lorraine Rosenbaum, of Sarasota, for $370,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,474 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 1999.

Diane Hillenbrand, of Nokomis, sold the Unit 159 condominium at 1701 Clower Creek Drive to Howard and Angela Taylor, of W. Yorkshire, United Kingdom, for $310,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,807 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 2012.

Patrick Withrow and Lynne Andersen, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit T-105 condominium at 1630 Treehouse Circle to Kathy Mitchell and Anne Kuehl, of Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,737 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $210,000 in 2003.

Grove Heights
FEC Investments LLC sold the home at 1900 Grove St. to Mark and Cecilia Wagner, of Sarasota, for $360,000. Built in 1958, it has five bedrooms, two-and-two-half baths and 1,695 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2015.

Coral Cove
Drew Weber, of Lowell, Mass., sold the home at 1846 Cockleshell Drive to Thomas and Sandra Schulte, of Sarasota, for $329,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,432 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,000 in 2014.

Floyd’s
Fannie Mae sold the home at 1331 S. Osprey Ave. to Oaktree Capital LLC for $300,000. Built in 1949, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 935 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2005.

Sarasota Bay Park
Paula Gross, of Sarasota, sold her home at 2304 Hickory Ave. to Judith Rosemarin, of Sarasota, for $290,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,166 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $188,000 in 2002.
Margaret Kroesch, of Overland Park, Kansas, sold two properties at 970 Alameda Lane to 970 Alameda Lane LLC for $268,000. The first property was built in 1925, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,007 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1998, it has one bedroom, one bath and 800 square feet of living area. 

Woodbridge Estates
Michael and Lynne Grande, of New Port Richey, sold their Unit 49 condominium at 2634 Moss Oak Drive to Carmela Luccarelli, trustee, of Sarasota, for $280,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,297 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,500 in 2013.

Landings South
Walter Spicker, trustee, of Columbus, Ohio, sold the Unit 101 condominium at 5213 Heron Way to Nicholas Pocock, trustee, of Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,481 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $151,000 in 1992.

One Watergate
David Jamieson sold the Unit 4E condominium at 1111 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Robert and Susan Jamieson, of Woburn, Mass., for $265,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,575 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $332,600 in 2004.

South Gate
John and Christine Keller, of State College, Pa., sold their home at 3077 Tyrone Lane to W. Michael Bishop and Alison Bishop, trustees, Zev Bishop and Jacquelyn Blake, of Sarasota, for $262,500. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,225 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $77,000 in 1983.
Diana Donovan, of Bradenton, sold her home at 2547 Tulip St. to Christi Brooks, of Sarasota, for $220,000. Built in 1958, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,353 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $122,500 in 2010.

Gulf Gate Woods
Jo Ann McKinney, of Sarasota, sold her home at 7408 Mariana Drive to Janet Darmin, of Sarasota, for $239,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,333 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $108,000 in 1994.
Kathy Blankenship, of Sarasota, sold her home at 7533 Swanson Lane to Alexis Bellovich and Michael Bellovich, of Sarasota, for $239,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,473 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $62,000 in 1978.

Renaissance
Aaron Copeland sold his Unit 808 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Richard Schuller II, of Sarasota, for $200,000. Built in 2001, it has one bedroom, one bath and 700 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $170,500 in 2002.

Donald Kunz, Marilyn Lytle and Peter Lytle, trustees, sold the Unit 8 condominium at 222 Beach Road to Sandy Modell, of Sarasota, for $2,210,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,837 square feet of living area.

Prince’s Gate
Thomas Shuff and Penny Torok-Shuff, of Holland, Mich., sold their home at 1286 Whitehall Place to Margaret Madonian and Kevin Sorge, of Manlius, N.Y., for $1.8 million. Built in 1966, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 3,967 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,850,000 in 2009.

Mira Mar Beach
Susan Zenga and James Wildenburg, trustees, and Jack Zenga sold the home at 95 Avenida Messina to Siesta Key Beach House LLC for $926,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,972 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1984.

Siesta’s Bayside
Nancy Brown sold her home at 590 Commonwealth Place to Clarence and Beverly Chenoweth, of Sarasota, for $890,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,270 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $855,000 in 2007.

Siesta Beach
Lee and Susan Falkenstrom, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 702 Treasure Boat Way to Raoul and Kimberly Farcot, of Edgewater, Md., for $850,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,299 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $692,500 in 2013.

Somerset Cay
Chrisine Cox sold the Unit 23 condominium at 9122 Midnight Pass Road to Thomas Potts and Christine Petrillo, of Sarasota, for $800,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,237 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $859,500 in 2004.

Russel and Stephanie Campbell sold their Unit 220 condominium at 1315 Dockside Place to Elena and Semyon Slobounov, of Sarasota, for $699,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,827 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $565,000 in 2011.

Kathleen Rosfelder, trustee, of Rocky River, Ohio, sold the Unit 17 condominium at 6154 Midnight Pass Road to The Real Estate Parking Co. for $449,900. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,190 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $109,400 in 2006.

Marc Stefanski, trustee, of Beachwood, Ohio, sold the Unit C105 condominium at 8776 Midnight Pass Road to Pamela and John Smith, of Mayfield, Ky., for $420,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,338 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $170,000 in 2001.

Donald and Karen Pallies, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 319 condominium at 5950 Midnight Pass Road to MR & GG LLC for $400,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths and 988 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2012.

Jaclyn and Howard Young, trustees, of Derby, Vt., sold the Unit J-1 condominium at 5600 Beach Way Drive to Jennifer Dwyer, of Montclair, N.J., for $375,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,182 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $342,500 in 2005.

Bank of New York Mellon, trustees, sold the home at 1455 Burgos Drive to Blue Water Properties LLC for $240,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,672 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $359,500 in 2006.
