After months of disagreements between Heritage Harbour South's two governing groups, the two will come together to find a common ground on key issues.

At the Heritage Harbour South Community Development Districts meeting last month, the supervisors and representitives of the Stoneybrook homeowner's association agreed to hold monthly meetings 30 minutes prior to the regulary scheduled CDD meeting at 6 p.m.

This marks the first official collaborative effort by the groups, which hope an open-to-the-public forum will help inform residents as to what the groups actually do, while complying with the open-book policies of the Florida Sunshine Law.

The groups will kick-off their first meeting with a discussion on landscape maintenance, and will cover facets of the issue, such as which group maintains responsibility for certain areas on the premises. The attending representatives from both groups will discuss the results of the meeting at the CDD meeting tonight.

The workshop will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 4, at the Stoneybrook Golf Club, 8000 Stone Harbour Loop.
