CAMP SPOTLIGHT: LAC Sports Camp

This week, The East County Observer caught up with children at the Longwood Athletic Club Sports Camp to find out what they loved most the camp, which features lessons in swimming, tennis, basketball and other sports.

What is your favorite thing about summer camp?

“I like the sports. I like basketball the most because I can actually try to beat somebody at running.”

“Tennis because I get to play (the game) jail.”

“I like tennis because I want to play it. I take tennis lessons.”

“Playing tennis. It's real fun and I've been playing it about four years.”
