About 300 children this week are participating in Harvest United Methodist Church’s “Pandamania” Vacation Bible School. The East County Observer caught up with several participants to find out what they were up to this week.

What has been your favorite part of Vacation Bible School?
“I like everything here. It’s a lot of fun.”

Abbie Dietz
What has been your favorite part of the week?
“I like the games. We used squirt guns for freeze tag.”

What do you think of this year’s theme?
“It’s really cool. I like all the pandas.”

What have you most enjoyed learning about?
“God’s creation — that he created animals.”

What has been your favorite activity this week?
“We made soap. We got messy.”
