CAMP SPOTLIGHT: Camp ODA

This week, the East County Observer caught up with some students attending Camp ODA to find out what they enjoyed the most about this year’s camp.

Kinsey Newhams, 9

What was your favorite part about Camp ODA?

“Going to Adventure Island yesterday and also two weeks ago. All of the rides were really fun. I was nervous to go and I didn’t expect to like it, but then I did.

What was your favorite part about Camp ODA?

“The talent show and water day. In the talent show you get to show off what you can do; and during water day you can have fun, play games and jump in the pool.”

Ellie Martin, 9

What was your favorite part about Camp ODA? 

“I enjoyed the shows and I liked Adventure Island. Instead of just doing stuff individually you get to do things with friends. When we went to Adventure Island I was really scared, but most of the rides were fun and everyone was encouraging me.”

What was your favorite part about Camp ODA?

“Adventure Island. It was the first time that I (had been) there. I was really nervous going on some of the rides, but I thought it was really fun.”
