Burglar hits same house four times

Sarasota police detectives arrested an illegal immigrant yesterday for allegedly burglarizing the same house four times this year.

Daniel Garza, 25, is charged with breaking into 2642 Ringling Blvd. He allegedly targeted the home after he was hired to do some painting there last year.

The most recent burglary took place Aug. 11. Detectives recovered some of the stolen items, including jewelry and collectible currency and coins, from Garza’s home at 3808 Locust Ave. The burglar left a fingerprint on the window he opened to climb inside the home, police reports state.
