Buchanan promotes free trade deals

Congressman Vern Buchanan on Monday met at Port Manatee to discuss the positive impact of free trade deals with Colombia, Panama and South Korea.

Buchanan, who chairs the Panama Caucus and is Florida's only member of the House Ways and Means Committee, has been working to pass the deals, which he says will provide critical economic growth for the state.

The House of Representatives is expected to consider the trade agreements next week.
